Data we process

• Account and authentication data: email address, authentication identifier, login provider, session and security records.
• Profile data: username, avatar, country code, declared age, gender, business capital range, status, biography, language, and preferences.
• Content and social data: ideas, comments, suggestions, reactions, favourites, friendships, blocks, reports, private messages, and uploaded images.
• Subscription data: app-store product, entitlement, purchase status, renewal or expiry information, and subscription identifiers. We do not receive full payment-card details.
• Device and service data: push token, installation identifier, app version, locale, timestamps, network or security logs, and service diagnostics.
• Optional approximate location: used only after your request to detect a country. Ambizio stores the resulting country code, not coordinates.
• Optional microphone data: used during dictation by the device speech-recognition service. Ambizio receives recognised text and does not store the audio recording; the speech-service provider may process audio under its own terms.
• Optional AI data: prompts, relevant content or context, and generated output when you separately consent to an AI feature. If you report an AI response, we retain the submitted excerpt, a fingerprint, and report metadata for moderation and abuse prevention. Do not submit sensitive or confidential data.

Why we process data

We process data to create and secure accounts; provide, personalise, synchronise, and support the service; deliver messages and notifications; process subscriptions; provide optional location, dictation, translation, and AI features; prevent fraud and abuse; moderate content; respond to reports; enforce our Terms; comply with law; and establish or defend legal claims.

Depending on your location, the legal bases are performance of our contract, legitimate interests in operating and protecting the service, compliance with legal obligations, and consent for optional permissions or AI processing. You can withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Service providers and disclosures

We disclose only what is needed to providers acting for us or as independent platform providers, including:

• Supabase for authentication, database, storage, realtime services, and server functions;
• Google and Firebase for Android services, push notifications, Google sign-in, Play Billing, and device speech recognition where selected;
• Meta or Facebook when you choose Facebook sign-in;
• RevenueCat for subscription entitlement and purchase-status processing;
• OpenAI for optional AI generation and translation after explicit consent;
• legal, safety, fraud-prevention, or corporate transaction recipients where permitted or required by law.

We do not sell personal data, show advertising, or use sensitive data for advertising.

International transfers

Providers may process data outside your country. Where required, we use recognised safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses. Details can be requested at ambiziosupport@gmail.com.

Retention and deletion

We retain account data while the account is active and as necessary for the purposes above. After in-app deletion, the account, profile, private messages, owned ideas, and uploaded files are scheduled for permanent deletion as soon as reasonably possible and no later than 30 days. Shared contributions may be deleted or anonymised so discussions remain coherent.

Security, fraud, transaction, consent, and legal records may be retained only for as long as required by applicable law or reasonably necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. Backups expire on their normal protected rotation. Deleting an Ambizio account does not cancel an app-store subscription.

Your choices and rights

You can edit profile data, control notifications, decline optional location or microphone access, revoke AI-processing consent, block users, report content, and delete the account in the app. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, or withdrawal of consent, and complain to a data-protection authority. Contact ambiziosupport@gmail.com; we may verify identity before completing a request.

Security and age

We use access controls, encryption in transit, restricted server functions, database policies, upload limits, and monitoring appropriate to the risk. No system is perfectly secure. Ambizio is for people aged 18 or older and is not directed to children.
